The restoration was done by the owner with help from Wooden Boat Club members 05/06/07 and completed early 08.

The two piece top, air scoop and engine cover were reworked and painted by a body shop.

The seats and vinyl were completed by an upholstery shop.

The carpet was purchased and done by a floor covering shop.

The back-drop and side curtains were made by the same upholster.

The bottom was sanded to bare planks, routered between each plank for uniformity and then filled with mahogany strips and  #404 epoxy filler and entire bottom to waterline covered with four coats of Smith Clear Penetrating Epoxy Sealer.  A west system bottom was installed using fiberglass fabric with west #105 resin, #206 hardener then followed by two coats of 2 part primer and two coats of Interlux Seattle gray bottom paint.  #96 varnish and bright white are also Interlux.  No rot was found.

The only things needed are a horn selection hooked to a button and wiring in place.  Also hook up of fuel and water supply.  Owner has possession of more canvas if you want to cover everything.  There was only one plank, a few screws and plugs were required on the entire boat (transom).

Trailer rear lights are in place but need wiring to hitch and side lighting.  Trailer is custom shop built for the boat (tandem) with 14” chrome wheels – 6” drop axels.

All the wiring is new by a retired electrical engineer from Texas Instruments.

The engine was tuned and tested by a local hot rod and drag boat mechanic.

Asking price: $50,000.00

The buyer is responsible for all delivery cost and the boat is located in Dallas Texas.
